"Joe" was the runt out of a litter of 11 and as you can see, he turned out to be a handsome young man, weighing about 85 lbs. He tries extremely hard to please and is a very calm natured dog but with a strong desire to retrieve. His sire is GMHR, HRCH Southland Bonnie Blue Belle, MH, a son of my beloved GMHR Southland Leroy Brown. Blu is one of the only tri-titled hunt test dogs in the country. Joe was a late bloomer, but with love and patience has become a well-balanced hunting dog and attained his UKC Hunting Retriever title (HR). What "Charm" lacks in size (a very solid 60 lbs) she makes up for in attitude. She is a very vivacious, affectionate female, but under control. Her pedigree is a fine example of a cross of Show and Field breeding, giving you a combination of excellent conformation along with a driving desire to retrieve.
